In M. Night Shyamalan’s hit new psychological thriller, viewers are taken on a journey with three girls kidnapped by a man (James McAvoy) who’s diagnosed with 23 distinct personalities. Trying to escape before a frightful 24th personality comes to the forefront, the girls will face the challenge of their life if they’re to escape unscathed. Betty Buckley stars alongside McAvoy as Dr. Karen Fletcher, and today we’ve got an incredible exclusive interview with the star, talking all about the film, her character and more. You can watch the interview in the video below:
Following the success of the film, Shyamalan revealed that there would be a sequel to Split, which would also act as the sequel to his hugely popular flick Unbreakable, which was led by Bruce Willis. The writer/director said that he had always been his dream “to have both films collide in this third film.”
Split took in over $275 million across the globe in the worldwide box office, so it’s easy to see why Shyamalan wants to continue capitalising on its success.
Split is out now on digital, and comes to Blu-ray and DVD on Monday, June 5.
