Armie Hammer has slowly been making a name for himself over the last couple of years with roles in the likes of The Social Network and J. Edgar.
This week he takes on the biggest role of his career to date, as he teams up with Johnny Depp for The Lone Ranger.
Hammer is set to play the title role in the movie, while Depp is on board as Native American warrior Tonto.
The movie takes the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
Gore Verbinski is in the director's chair for the film, while Helena Bonham Carter, William Fichtner and Ruth Wilson are all also on the cast list.
The Lone ranger kicks off a very busy period for the actor as he has a series of exciting projects in the pipeline.
Popular TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is heading to the big screen and Hammer is set to take on the role of Illya Kuryakin.
Henry Cavill will play Napoleon Solo, which Guy Ritchie will be back in the director's chair.
This is the first time that Hammer will have teamed up with either Cavill or Ritchie. The project is currently in pre-production, and a release date for the film is not yet known.
Another project that is waiting in the wings for Hammer is 2:22. The movie sees Hammer tackle a thriller as he teams up with director Paul Currie.
The movie is expected to hit the big screen next year.
The actor has also been linked to Serpent Girl - however nothing is confirmed - as Matthew Carnaham has penned the screenplay and will be in the director's chair.
Armie Hammer's star is well and truly on the rise and his career is gaining momentum with every movie that he does.
The Lone Ranger is released 9th August.
