Robert Redford has enjoyed a career that has spanned over fifty years, and yet it is his new film All Is Lost that is being called one of his greatest performances.
Redford will be back on the big screen in December as he teams up with director J. C. Chandor for the first time.
The experienced actor is the only one on the cast list and it is a tour de force performance as he carries this film alone.

All Is Lost is the first directorial outing for Chandor since the success of Margin Call; it is also only the second feature film of his career.
Chandor has written the script as well as being in the director's chair.
All Is Lost follows a man who is lost and sea and finds himself struggling to survive as he fails to raise help.
This is a movie that stares mortality in the face, and Redford is being tipped as a possible Oscar contender for his central performance.
All Is Lost is released 26th December.
