MIa Wasikowska

MIa Wasikowska

This week there is a whole host of up and coming acting talent gracing the big screen as Restless and We Need To Talk About Kevin hit the big screen.

So we look at some of the youngster who are causing quite a stir in Hollywood and could be the huge stars of tomorrow.

- Mia Wasikowska

I have already praised Mia Wasikowska to death this year but I am going to do so once again as she is a major talent that we should all be excited about.

She make her breakthrough last year with Alice In Wonderland and followed that up with The Kids Are All Right.

This year she has already put in a superb turn as Jane Eyre in Cary Fukunaga's adaptation of the popular novel and she is back this week in Restless.

Albert Nobbs is also due for release and she has completed work on The Wettest County in the World.

- Henry Hopper

Henry Hopper, son of Dennis, takes on his first major acting role this week with Restless, which is directed by Gus Van Sant.

Is he set to follow in the footsteps of his father? Here's hoping that he brings that Hopper magic to a whole new generation.

The story of a terminally ill teenage girl who falls for a boy who likes to attend funerals and their encounters with the ghost of a Japanese kamikaze pilot from WWII.

- Ezra Miller

Ezra Miller has mixed and matched his TV and movie roles in the last couple of years but he is back on the big screen this week with We Need To Talk About Kevin.

We Need To Talk About Kevin looks set to be one of his most high profile movie roles as he teams up with Tilda Swinton - playing a teenager who goes on a killing spree in a high school.

He already has the likes of Another Happy Day and City Island under his belt as well as TV shows Royal Pains and Californication - already showing great versatility.

Miller will be back next year with The Perks of Being A Wallflower, which also stars Emma Watson and Logan Lerman.

- Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence has already shown her pedigree this year with her superb turn in Winter's Bone, which earnt her an Best Actress Oscar nomination - losing out to Natalie Portman.

And she turned her hand to the big budget blockbuster this summer as she took on the role of Mystique in X-Men: First Class.

And next year is set to be a busy one for the actress as she has already completed work on Like Crazy and The Hunger Games - which are due for release early 2012.

There is already plenty of excitement surrounding The Hunger Games as Lawrence takes on the role of Katniss Everdeen in the adaptation.

- Andrew Garfield

While Andrew Garfield is already reasonably well know his is set to see his star rocket next summer with The Amazing Spider Man.

I know it is a bit of a naff title but Garfield has taken over the role of Peter Parker and is set to re-launch the franchise - not a big Spider Man fan but I am super looking forward to this one!

Garfield made his big screen in David Fincher's The Social Network last year - backing it up with Never Let Me Go.

The adaptation of the Kazuo Ishiguro novel remains one of fave movies of the year and it was great to see him deliver such an emotion al performance in a really moving film.

- Chloe Moretz

You can't talk about young Hollywood talent without giving Chloe Moretz a little mention as she really has taken the movie world by story in recent years.

In case you have been living in a cave Kick Ass proved to be her breakthrough movie as her performance as the ass whopping, foul mouthed Hit Girl grabbed everyone's attention.

She followed this up with a superb performance in Let Me In, in which she played a vampire, and Hick is on the way.

She has also completed work on Hugo, Movie 43 and Dark Shadows and is currently filming Back Roads - this girl is going to be around for a very long time!!!

- Nicholas Hoult

Nicholas Hoult has come a long way since About A Boy back in 2002 he is now a bona fide movie star.

Skins re-launched his career in 2007 and he has never looked back as Hollywood came knocking.

He has mixed blockbuster roles such as Clash of The Titans and X-Men: First Class with more dramatic parts such as A Single Man.

We will see him on the big screen next in Jack the Giant Killer and he is currently filming Warm Bodies.

Restless & We Need To Talk About Kevin are released 21st October.
