X-Men origins: Wolverine
After three X-men movies Hugh Jackman's popular character is going solo with X-Men Origins: Wolverine, directed by Gavin Hood.
Similarly to X2 the film will delve further into Wolverine's murky and unknown past as he "discovers the world of mutants and, ultimately, the ominous Weapon X program, which turns people into living weapons.
Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.
The film is also set to explore his relationship with Victor Creed/Sabretooth unfortunatley wrestler turned actor Tyler Mane, who played him in the first film, will not be returning and the role has been given to Liev Schreiber.
