It's been a fair old while since we have seen a Steven Spielberg directed movie project hit the big screen - it was back in 2008 and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull if you must know.
But the new year is set to see him return as he brings his sweeping epic War Horse to the big screen - I feel this one may be a bit of a weepy.
War Horse is already the early favourite to scoop Best Picture at next year's Oscars, but there is a long way to go before then.
The movie is an adaptation of the novel by Michael Morpurgo and the stage show of the same name.
The movie follows Albert and his horse, Joey, and how their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One. Despite being too young to enlist, Albert heads to France to save his friend.
Jeremy Irvine is set to make his big screen debut as he takes on the role of Albert and he is joined by an all star cast British cast.
Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Emily Watson, David Thewlis and Toby Kebbell are just some of the names on the cast list.
War Horse is released 13th January 2012.
