The plot centres on Vijay Shekhawat (Harman Baweja) a young man from a small village in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan who tries to fulfill his dad's dreams of becoming an acclaimed cricketer.
Having played the father of a football fanatical daughter in Bend It Like Beckham, Anupam Kher takes on the role of the cricket crazy parent who pushes his son into representing his country. But will success come at a price and can Vijay survive his trial by fire?
