Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy promises to be one of the best movies to grace the screen in 2011 - the critics are already falling over themselves to praise it.
And with Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Colin First, John Hurt and Benedict Cumberbatch are just a handful of the final British actor that are on the cast list and they were on the red carpet last night for the London premiere of the movie.
The fans came out in droves to the British Film Institute in central London to catch a glimpse of the stars who had brought the John Le Carre novel to life.
The movie has been receiving rave reviews on the festival scene and there is already talk of a possible Oscar for Gary Oldman in the central role.
And Oscar winner Colin Firth agreed those supporting Oldman - going on to say that the actor is one of the best ever.
Speaking to Metro, Firth said:'I think it's been a long time coming, I think he's among the best that's ever been.
'I'd have been throwing awards at him for 30 years.'
