Action king Arjun follows Durai with his latest thriller Thiruvannamalai. Director Perarasu has been nicknamed 'Oorarasu' as he names all his films after towns (Thirupatchi, Sivakasi, Thirupathi and Dharmapuri).
Mumbai import Sania Vakil plays a school teacher while Sai Kumar takes the role of a villainous politician.
Arjun plays a cable TV operator who leads a peaceful life with his beloved mother and sister. He lives near the famous Thiruvannamalai Temple that holds the most powerful god, Lord Shiva.
Circumstances lead him to clash with a cruel politician and although he initially walks away from trouble, when his sister is threatened it provokes him into taking on the bad guys.
He must find a solution to end this chaos - and he must do it his way! An action-fest with a spiritual dimension, the film is produced by Pushpa Kandasamy on behalf of K Balachander's Kavithalaya.
