The Sessions is already causing a bit of a stir when it comes to predicting early Oscar nominations and the movie will be causing even more of a fuss when it is screened at the BFI London Film Festival later this month.
The movie was met well when it played at Toronto and it promises to be one of the films not to miss in London.
And we have the new trailer for the movie for you to enjoy:
The movie marks the return to the feature film for Ben Lewin as he has been working in TV and documentary since Lucky Break back in 1994.
Lewin has also penned the script and it is based on the true story of Mark O'Brien, who was paralysed from the nick down after suffering from polio.
And a fantastic cast as been assembled as John Hawkes, Helen Hunt, William H, Macy and Moon Bloodgood are all set to star.
The Sessions tells the story of a man confined to an iron lung who is determined at age 38 to lose his virginity.
With the help of his therapists and the guidance of his priest, he sets out to make his dream a reality.
And Helen Hunt could well be an actress to keep an eye on when the awards season rolls around as she could be picking up a few nominations for her central performance.
But we have a little while to wait for the movie as it will not be hitting screens here in the UK until 18th January.
