Zach Galifianakis has become one of comedy's hottest properties after his laugh out loud performance in The Hangover last summer.
The movie was one of the biggest hits of the summer as he teamed up with comedy director Todd Phillips - who he reunites with this week.
Yes Galifianakis is back on the big screen in Due Date, which sees him team up with Robert Downey Jr and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.
Galifianakis kicked off his career in television back in 1996 when he appeared in Boston Common before moving on to be a writer on Saturday Night Live, however that only last a fortnight.
But it was really in the noughties when he started to build up his career with roles in the likes of Heartbreakers, Bubble Boy and Out Cold.
But he returned to television as he had his own episode of comedy Central Presents as well as appearing in Reno 911! In 2003 he joined Tru Calling, taking on the role of Davis, where he stayed until 2005.
He continued to land movie role with the likes of Into The Wild and What Happens IN Vegas but it was The Hangover that would change the direction of his career.
Directed by Phillips the movie also starred Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha. Two days before his wedding, Doug and his three friends drive to Las Vegas for a blow-out bachelor party they'll never forget.
But, in fact, when the three groomsmen wake up the next morning, they can't remember a thing. For some reason, they find a tiger in the bathroom and a six-month-old baby in the closet of their suite at Caesars Palace.
The one thing they can't find is Doug. With no clue as to what transpired and little time to spare, the trio must retrace their hazy steps and all their bad decisions in order to figure out where things went wrong and hopefully get Doug back to L.A. in time to walk down the aisle.
Galifianakis took on the role of the slightly strange Alan and stole the show with his great comic performance. The movie was a critical and commercial hit and Galifianakis has seen his career soar.
The actor lent his voice to animation movie G-Force before going on to appear in Up In The Air with George Clooney.
And 2010 has already been a busy year for the actor with Youth In Revolt, Dinner For Schmucks and It's Kind of a Funny Story under his belt.
But he is back this week with Due Date. Downey Jr stars as Peter Highman, an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is a mere five days away.
As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan--on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve.
The actor is already working in The Hangover 2, which will see him unite with Phillips once again, and he is all set to lend his voice to Puss In Boots as Humpty Dumpty.
Due Date is released 5th November.
