The Informers
The novel "The Informers" by Brett Easton Ellis ("American Psycho") was originally published in 1995 and was a collection of loosely connected short stories capturing a week in L.A. in 1983.
Seven storylines intersect featuring movie executives, rock stars, a vampire and other morally challenged characters in adventures laced with sex, drugs and violence.
This film adaptation is directed by Gregor Jordan ("Ned Kelly", "Buffalo Soldiers") and features the acting talents of Winona Ryder returning after a long absence, newcomer Amber Heard ("Never Back Down"), Mickey Rourke, Kim Basinger, Billy Bob Thornton and Rhys Ifans.
