Former hot-shot journalist Simon Hunt (Richard Gere) makes a sudden reappearance on the fifth anniversary of the end of the Bosnian civil war and five years after he went into a lifeof exile.Hunt is reunited with his camerman Duck (Terrance Howard) and convinces him to go ona dangerous mission to try and secure an interview with Fox (Ljubomir Kerekes), a wanted war criminal, and based on the real life Radovan Karadicz.They are joined by Ben (Jesse Eisenberg), a Harvard graduate looking for adventure and a good story.The trio travel deep into Serb territory facing danger at every turn.The Hunting Party is loosely based on a Scott Anderson article 'What i Did on My Summer Vacation' which was published in Esquire magazine and told of five reporters who went after Karadicz and tried to capture him.
