We are twelve months away from the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey but I am already excited at the prospect of returning to Middle Earth.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and, as we speak, Peter Jackson and so are currently filming in New Zealand.
In this latest video Peter Jackson takes us behind the scenes on the set to look at the technology being used to shoot the movie.
Martin Freeman is set to lead the cast as he takes on the role of Bilbo Baggins and he is joined by the familiar faces of Ian McKellan, Orlando Bloom and Cate Blanchett.
But there will be plenty of new faces on the cast list including Luke Evans, Richard Armitage and James Nesbitt.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be released on December 14, 2012
