The Descendants
Now here in the FemaleFirst offices George Clooney is a huge hit - that really should come as no surprise.
And he is back on the big screen later this month when he stars in his new movie The Descendants.
There is already plenty of hype around this movie and Clooney is perhaps, at this stage anyway, the favourite to scoop the Best Actor Oscar later this year.

However he is not on directing duties this time around as he has teamed up with Alexander Payne, the man who brought us Sideways, for this latest project.
The movie has already picked up nominations at the Golden Globes and Independent Spirit Awards, amongst others, and looks set to feature heavily this awards season.
The Descendants is a sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic journey for Matt King (George Clooney) an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki.
The event leads to a rapprochement with his young daughters while Matt wrestles with a decision to sell the family’s land handed down from Hawaiian royalty and missionaries.
The Descendants is released 27th January.
