The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud
Zac Efron is back on the big screen this week, it has been a while as we haven't seen him since 17 Again last year, with his new movie The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud.
It's a change of pace for Efron as he leaves behind the musical and the comedy as he takes on the dramatic role of Charlie St Cloud, who struggles to come to terms with the death of his younger brother.
Charlie St. Cloud is a young man overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother. So much so that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery in which his brother is buried. Charlie has a special lasting bond with his brother though, as he can see him. Charlie meets up with his brother (Sam) each night to play catch and talk.
Then, a girl comes into Charlie's life and he must choose between keeping a promise he made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves
The movie is the first real emotion lead role for the young star as he tries to break away from his musical/teen pin up background, you might want to take a hanky to this one girls!
