The Awakening
Now I am a big fan of Rebecca Hall - who has proved to be a very versatile actress in the last few years.
And she is set to turn her hand to the horror movie with her new project The Awakening, a movie that will be screened at the BFI London Film Festival next week.
This is the first feature film for Nick Murphy, who makes the transition from TV to the big screen, in what looks set to be a chilling watch.
And Hall is not the only fine actor on the cast list as she is joined by Dominic West, who has been a super busy boy this year, and the fabulous Imelda Staunton.
In post-World War I England in 1921, an author and paranormal sceptic (Hall) is invited to a countryside boarding school by the history master (West) to investigate rumours of an apparent haunting.
But just when she thinks she has debunked the ghost theory, she has an eerie encounter which makes her question all her rational beliefs.
The Awakening is released 11th November.
