The steamy scenes from Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger's '9 1/2 Weeks' have been voted the Sexiest Moments in Cinema according to film fans.
LOVEFiLM, the UK's largest online DVD & games rental service and entertainment website polled over 2,000 members on the films that got them hot under the collar to mark the launch of its limited edition Valentine's Day rental envelopes.
The Iron Man 2 and The Wrestler star Rourke's scenes, including an infamous fridge moment (resembling an x-rated M&S advert) topped the list, narrowly beating competition from Basic Instinct with scenes including Sharon Stone's leg-crossing with 15 per cent and 13 per cent respectively.
A racy threesome is just one of the scenes that put acclaimed Mexican coming of age film Y Tu Mamá También starring Gael García Bernal in third place with 12 per cent.
Halle Berry cavorting around naked on the living room floor in Monster's Ball clearly got viewers' pulses racing in fourth place and did wonders for her career too - earning her an Oscar for Best Actress in the process (11 per cent).
Not your average cheesy rom-com, the 2002 sadomasochistic comedy Secretary not only successfully provided Maggie Gyllenhaal with the break-through role of her career, but also had audiences glued as the shy self-harming girl submitted to a kinky relationship with boss James Spader (fifth place with nine per cent).
Whether it was the pool scene with Neve Campbell and Denise Richards or the ménage à trois with Matt Dillon, 1998 thriller Wild Things certainly heated things up for film fans in sixth place in the poll (eight per cent).
Jake Gyllenhaal and the late Heath Ledger's powerful love story of two men falling in love in 1960s America in Brokeback Mountain is seventh in the poll after their tent fumble was remembered by fans - an iconic moment that received five per cent of the vote.
Naomi Watts and Laura Harring enjoying a night together was one of the most stand-out moments in the confusing Mulholland Drive, with viewers voting it into eighth place in the list with four per cent.
Who knew a steamy lift ride would land him in so much trouble? In ninth was Fatal Attraction; the story of an adulterous affair gone wrong after Michael Douglas is stalked by 'bunny-boiling' Glenn Close (three per cent).
Finally completing the list in tenth with two per cent is Brangelina's saucy make-up scene after literally tearing their house apart in spy film Mr & Mrs Smith - a film that will also go down in history as starting the Team Aniston v. Team Jolie war.
