Marvel movies have been thrilling audiences for many a year now as some of the comics’ biggest heroes such as Spider Man, Iron Man and Thor have all graced the silver screen.
But for over a decade there has been one common feature in many of the Marvel movies… and that is Stan Lee.
Yes Lee has made a career out of appearing alongside the characters that he helped create as they made the transition from comics to the big screen.
But have you been able to spot him?
Stan Lee was selling hotdogs on the beach in X-Men back in 2000 when Senator Kelly, played by Bruce Davidson, walked out of the sea after being experimented upon by Magneto.
He found himself in the thick of the action in Spider Man as he was forced to dodge debris as Spider Man battle the Green Goblin - he would appear in the next two movies in the franchise.
Blink and you miss him in Daredevil, which hit the big screen in 2002, as he was crossing the road reading a newspaper next to a young Matt Murdock.
In The Fantastic Four Lee played one of his own characters Willie Lumpkin - who is seen delivering mail at the beginning of the film.
Back in X-Men Lee was minding his own business watering his garden in The Last Stand as a young Jean Grey demonstrated her growing power.
Lee was enjoying the party at the beginning of Iron Man as he is mistaken for Hugh Hefner by Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr, as he arrives at an event.
Lee appeared in Ang Lee’s version of The Hulk and returned in 2008 when he appeared in The Incredible Hulk. His character consumes a drink contaminated by Bruce Banner’s blood - needless to say it doesn’t end well.
Lee also appeared in Thor this summer as he damages his truck trying to move Thor’s hammer.
He is also set to cameo in next year’s The Amazing Spider Man.
