But he is set to take on a very different role with his next movie Rush, a biography of Formula 1 champion driver Niki Lauda, played by Daniel Bruhl.
Hemsworth is set to play Lauda's main racing rival James Hunt in the Ron Howard directed movie.

This is the first directorial outing for Howard since his comedy flick The Dilemma back at the beginning of 2011.
The script is penned by Peter Morgan and is set in the 1976 Formula One season where both Lauda and Hunt are both battling it out for the world championship.
Joining Hemsworth and Bruhl on the cast list are Olivia Wilde, Natalie Dormer and Tom Wlaschiha in what is set to be one of the biopic movies not to miss.
Rush is released next year
