Rose Byrne is an Australian actress who has so far enjoyed a career that has spanned seventeen years.
She has never stayed to one genre of film moving from the sweeping epic of Troy to the horror film 28 Weeks Later and from the sci-fi project Sunshine to this week's comedy Bridesmaids.
But the one thing that is always constant is the costumes and those have varied as much as her roles. We take a look at some of the costumes that has worn over the years:
- Troy (Briseis)
Byrne joined an all star cast of Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom and Diane Kruger in 2004 when she took on the role of Briseis in Troy.
Briseis was a Trojan priestess of Apollo (as well as being the cousin of Hector and Paris) and unlike the other women in the movie her costume is very modest.
A simple life as a priestess lead to simple tunics - this one looking like it had been made out of a pair of curtains.
- Marie Antoinette (Gabrielle de Polastron, duchesse de Polignac)
Marie Antoinette saw Byrne team up with Oscar nominated director Sofia Copolla alongside Kirsten Dunst.
She took on the role of Gabrielle de Polastron who was a favourite of Marie Antoinette - the pair meeting not long after she was crowned queen.
A figure in society and known for her extravagance Byrne's costume was period dress - for which designer Milena Cannonero won the Oscar.
- 28 Weeks Later (Major Scarlett Ross)
In 2007 Byrne turned her hand to the horror movie as 28 Weeks Later, which came five years after Danny Boyle's Brit classic.
It was a more action packed role for the actress as she played Major Scarlett Ross, alongside Jeremy Renner.
Scarlett battles through an infected London as she tries to protect two children from the order to shoot all civilians.
This time around it was army gear and a gun for the actress.
- X-Men: First Class (Moira MacTaggert)
She was back on the big screen this summer as she teamed up with James McAvoy, Michael Fasbbender and Jennifer Lawrence for X-Men: First Class.
The second spin off X-Men movie has been a huge box office success - the #1 movie in both the U.S. and the UK and so far taking $282 million worldwide.
Byrne takes on the role of super-serious Dr. Moira MacTaggert - a CIA agent who sides with Charles Xavier.
The serious nature of her work influences her wardrobe as she stick to simple and quite sophisticated pieces.
- Bridesmaids (Helen Harris)
Byrne goes from summer blockbuster to comedy with her next project Bridesmaids - which sees her work alongside Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Chris O'Dowd.
She takes on the role of Helen Harris - a wealthy wife; and her clothes reflect that money.
But despite all the money in the world she still ends up in a bright pick bridesmaids dress as he friend walks down the aisle.
Bridesmaids is released 24th June
