Robert De Niro is one of the greatest actor to have ever graced the big screen with Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and The Deer Hunter just a few of the classic movies that he has starred in.
He has enjoyed a career that has spanned over forty years and despite being sixty six years old he shows no sign of slowing down.
And he's back on the big screen this week with Everybody's Fine, which sees him work alongside Drew Barrymore, Sam Rockwell and Kate Beckinsale.
The movie follows a widower who realized his only connection to his family was through his wife sets off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children.
So to celebrate the release of the movie we take a look at the later years of De Niro's career.
By the turn of the nineties De Niro was still successfully working alongside filmmaker Martin Scorsese with Goodfellas and Cape Fear in 1990 and 1991.
Cape Fear brought De Niro another Best Actor Oscar nod, losing out to Anthony Hopkins for The Silence of the Lambs.
Throughout the nineties he continued with his gritty roles as the likes of Sleepers and Casino came his way, he also made his directorial debut this month with A Bronx Tale.
But Heat was one of the big movies of the nineties as he teamed up with fellow legend Al Pacino, however they only share one scene together in the entire movie.
But it was at the end of the decade that we really saw a change of pace from De Niro as he began to take on more comedic roles.
With the likes of Analyze This in 1999 and Meet The Parents in 2000 the Oscar winning established himself as a superb comic actor.
Meet the Parents has gone on to become a huge box office success and unexpected franchise with Meet The Fockers in 2004 and a third film, Little Fockers, scheduled to hit the big screen this year.
The noughties has perhaps seen him mix and match his roles like never before moving from comedy to horror films such as Hide and Seek to lending his voice to animation movie Shark Tale.
He has also taken on more dramatic roles such as Righteous Kill, reuniting with Pacino, before returning to the director's chair for The Good Shepherd.
The movie starred an impressive cast of De Niro, Matt Damon and Angelina Jolie and told the story of the birth of counter-intelligence in the Central Intelligence Agency.
But perhaps his best role in come in Matthew Vaughn's Stardust, if you really haven't seen his turn as Captain Shakespeare then it's well worth a watch.
He sends himself up beautifully as the tough Captain Shakespeare who is not what he seems and it's not often, if ever again, that you will see him dancing in front of a mirror dressed in a corset and feather boa. Yes you heard me right!
Apart from starring in movies De Niro has also has moved into the producing side of the industry overseeing films such as Stage Beauty, About A Boy and Little Fockers, to name just a few.
And kicking off with Everybody's Fine 2010 looks set to be another very busy year for the actor.
Machete is first up for the actor and is a Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis directed movie and also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba and Lindsay Lohan.
Stone sees him reunite with Edward Norton and his third and final project comes in the form of comedy Little Fockers.
Everybody's Fine is released 26th February.
