Red Tails
Red Tails has been a passion project for George Lucas who has poured his own money into the movie just to get it made.
Directed by Anthony Hemingway the movie is inspired by the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African American United States Army Air Force (USAAF) servicemen during World War II.

The Tuskegee Airmen had not just the enemy to fight during World War II but also the other men that they served with as they were kept segregated and on the ground.
But they got their chance to fight for their country and their involvement in World War II proved to be a cultural milestone.
An all star cast has been brought together to tell a fictional account of this tale as Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Tristan Wilds are all on board.
The movie marks the feature length debut for director Hemingway after working mostly in TV on the likes of CSI:NY and Treme.
