Ridley Scott first explored space on the big screen back in 1979 with Alien, a movie for which he will always be remembered.
But this summer sees him return to sci-fi and deep space as Prometheus is about to hit the big screen.
Ridley and co have managed to keep the details on this rather exciting looking movie wrapped up pretty tight but now the new international trailer has been released:
Jon Spaihts & Damon Lindelof were on hand to pen the script and, as you would imagine, a Ridley Scott movie has drawn quite a cast.
Noomi Rapace leads a blockbuster movie for the very first time and she is joined by Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce.
With Prometheus Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe.
There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
Prometheus is a movie that is set to stand over against the superhero and the fantasy movies that are coming our way this summer - this one could well be a must see.
Prometheus is released 1st June
