Chris Pine has a busy twelve months ahead of him and it all kicks off with the release of his upcoming movie People Like Us.
People Like Us is a change of pace for the actor as he temporarily leaves the action roles behind to concentrate on the family drama.
And we have the new trailer for the movie for you to take a look at:
The movie sees writer Alex Kurtzman make his big screen directorial debut with this movie while he once again teamed up with Robert Orci to pen the screenplay.
This movie reunites Kurtzman with Pine as the director penned the screenplay for Star Trek.
And a great cast has been assembled for the project as Pine is joined by Elizabeth Banks, Michael Hall D'Addario, Michelle Pfeiffer and Olivia Wilde.
The movie is inspired by true events and follows Sam, a twenty-something, fast-talking salesman, whose latest deal collapses on the day he learns that his father has suddenly died.
Against his wishes, Sam is called home, where he must put his father's estate in order and reconnect with his estranged family.
In the course of fulfilling his father's last wishes, Sam uncovers a startling secret that turns his entire world upside down: He has a 30-year-old sister Frankie whom he never knew about (Elizabeth Banks).
As their relationship develops, Sam is forced to rethink everything he thought he knew about this family... and re-examine his own life choices in the process.
People Like Us is released 9th November
