Two women embark on separate, life-changing journeys - one to Wales, one to Argentina - in this touching road movie.
Cardiff-born Gwen (Nia Roberts) has been struggling with life since discovering she's infertile. When her partner, Rhys (Matthew Gravelle) is sent on a photographic assignment to Patagonia, Gwen decides this could be just the break they need to salvage their relationship.
But when she meets Welsh Patagonian Mateo (Matthew Rhys) her attraction to him takes her by surprise, and with Rhys absorbed in his project, what's to stop this innocent flirtation developing into something more?
Meanwhile, elderly Argentine Cerys (Marta Lubos) embarks on a pilgrimage to the Welsh Countryside of her ancestors, taking her shy neighbour Alejandro (Nahuel Perez Biscayart) with her as a chaperone.
Cerys encourages Alejandro to broaden his horizons and when he meets gorgeous student, Sissy (Duffy), he sees that Cerys may well have a point.
But elsewhere, Cerys is making some shocking discoveries of her own.
