Mr Untouchable is the true life story of the nortorious Nicky Barnes, a junkie turned multi million pound drug lord.The film takes the audience deep into the heroin industry of the late seventies as Barnes rose to prominence as the most powerful black king pin in the history of New York city.But Barnes came from humble beginnings however any evidence of her poor past was dispersed when, in 1977, the New York Times put him on the front cover of their magazine under the headline 'Mr Untouchable'But this status didn't last much longer as his empire crumbled.Only when facing a life prison sentence with no parole did Barnes start naming names.Levin's documentary charts Barnes' lavish millionaire lifestyle, his battle with addiction, his rise to power and his ultimate downfall.
