Monsters is a movie that is still surrounded in secrecy and mystery but the film does promise to be one of the must see for the autumn.
The movie is the big screen directorial debut for Gareth Edwards, he has also penned the script, as he brings together a little known cast for the film.
Monsters is already being dubbed the District 9 of 2010, bear in mind that this movie went on to achieve critical acclaim and bag a Best Picture Oscar nomination - so not a bad movie to be compared to!
And Monsters kicks off a sci-fi trend as Skyline and Battle Los Angeles are just two more movies that are set to tackle the subject of aliens.
Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America.
Soon after, new life form began to appear and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures"......
Our story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.
