It has been five years since we have heard the unmistakable theme tune to Mission: Impossible but this Christmas Ethan Hunt is back.
Yes Tom Cruise is set to return to the big screen in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, the fourth film in the franchise.
This time around there is a new face in the director's chair in the form of Brad Bird who, much like Andrew Stanton with John Carter is temporary leaving the animation world behind to make his live action debut.
And what a debut that looks set to be as Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol looks set to be the biggest and boldest of the films to date.
But Hunt would be nowhere without a crew and Cruise is joined by Simon Pegg, who is reprising the role of Benji Dunn, Paula Patton and Jeremy Renner.
This is not just another mission.
The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot.
Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization’s name.
No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this.
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is released 26th December.
