I don't know whether you have had the chance to see Les Miserables in the theatre but it is the greatest musical of all time with some of the most wonderful music.
So when I heard that that was being transported onto the big screen and the likes of Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway were all on board, not to mention director Tom Hooper, it was a movie that I was really looking forward.
And the first teaser trailer for the movie has been released and it really has not disappointed as Anne Hathaway singing I Dream A Dream - one of the most moving and powerful in the entire play.
Hathaway takes on the role of Fantine in the movie while Jackman and Crowe play Jean Valjean and Javert.
Then you have the likes of Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen all on this great cast list.
As for Hooper well he showed that he was a director with an eye for detail with The King's Speech, which just looked stunning, and it looks like he has nailed it visually once again.
This is his first movie since his Oscar triumph and I think we can safely say that Les Miserable could well be a major Oscar contender come the beginning of next year.
Les Miserables is released 11th January 2013.
