After losing his mother at an early age, Taz’s (Simon Rex) father, Norman (Ving Rhames), the most respected drug lord in town who let nothing and no one get in his way, taught his young son at an early age the rules of the streets, and what it meant to be 'King of the Avenue.'
After Taz witnessed the brutal slaying of his father, at the hands of police, he knew he had to find a way to regain the title of 'King,' and uphold his father’s reputation.
Meanwhile, there were other drug bosses far more powerful and next in line to be King, so Taz, at any cost, became desperate to find a way to put a stop to them, even if it meant selling his soul to the Devil (Esai Morales).
One by one, the top drug lords around town start dying in the most grotesque and evil ways, and no one knows how or why.
Taz seems to be the only one surviving these vicious attacks. He thinks it’s the spirit of his father that is the driving force and is satisfied with the results.
Soon, Taz has all the money, and power he could ever want. He has a beautiful home and a loyal, loving wife and son by his side. But the surviving drug bosses are on to him and this puts him and his family at risk.
Taz begins to realize that his dream of becoming like his father is now his biggest nightmare.
