Jon Hamm & Jennifer Westfeldt
The Cannes Film Festival is in full swing and Jon Hamm & Jennifer Westfeldt jetting in to talk about their new movie Friends With Kids.
The film is the directorial debut for actress Westfeldt and the third movie by the couple's production company Point West Pictures.
And while the movie may be the directing debut for Westfeldt she has assembled a great cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Megan Fox, Maya Rudolph and Chris O'Dowd.
The movie follows a pair of thirtysomething best friends who observe the toll that having kids has taken on the couples they know and resolve to bypass that stress by having a child and then date other people.
In an interview at Cannes the director revealed that the movie was influenced by her friends having children and the impact that that had on her relationship with them.
Friends with kids is scheduled for a 2012 release and will be heading to the Toronto Film Festival later this year.
