John Carter hits the big screen next week and it promises to be the first must see blockbuster movies of 2012.
Andrew Stanton is in the director's chair for his first live action movie, you will know him best as the Oscar winning filmmaker behind Finding Nemo & Wall-E.

John Carter is set to be the biggest role of Taylor Kitsch's career in what is a busy year for the actor, he will also be starring in Battleship this summer.
The actor is known for his role in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Bang Bang Club but this will be the first time he will have headed a cast in a major blockbuster movie.
And an all star cast join him as Lynn Collins, Mark Strong, Willem Dafoe, Dominic West, James Purefoy and Thomas Haden Church are all on board.
The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins).
In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.
