Tom Cruise is back on the big screen this Boxing Day with his brand new movie Jack Reacher.
The movie will see Cruise take on the role of Reacher and the movie is an adaptation of Lee Child's 2005 novel One Shot.

Despite Jack Reacher being a popular literary hero this is the first time that he has been brought to the big screen.
And it is filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie who is helming the project - he also adapted the novel by Child into a screenplay.
Over the last few years McQuarrie has concentrated on the writing aspect of his career and so this is his first directorial outing since The Way of the Gun back in 2000.
Cruise is not the only star of this movie as an impressive cast list has been assembled with Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins and Robert Duvall starring.
2012 is set to be a breakthrough year for Jai Courtney and he is going to kick that off with the role of Charlie in this movie.

Jack Reacher is released 26th December.
