The move took the Comic Franchise right back to the beginning showing to audience how Bruce Wayne became the crime fighting superhero we know and love today.
The dark and twisted adaptation was right up Bale’s street who had to gain 35 pounds for the role.

A heated discussion arose on the internet about if the first non American actor portraying Batman could lead to a hit or flop, but Bale exceeded all expectations.
Christian Bale made the Bat cool again, die hard fans weren’t disappointed, even none followers of Batman were left intrigued by the movie and wanted to see more of what Bale could bring to the character.
