August 21st sees the UK cinema release of I Love You Beth Cooper! Hayden Panettiere stars as the hottest and most popular girl in school, Beth Cooper.
On their graduation night, Beth Cooper shows Dennis Cooverman (Paul Rust), the school’s nerdy valedictorian ‘the best night of his life!’
To make sure you don’t miss out on anything when you leave school, Beth Cooper gives us a lowdown of the Top 10 things you must do after leaving school!
1. Throw a house party!
Invite the hottest guy/girl from school and make sure you hold a champagne reception to impress them. If it’s a success you’ll go down as a high school hero.
Obviously get permission first, nothing can be much more embarrassing than your parents coming home and kicking out all your friends!
2. Sing 'School’s out for summer!'
You have to sing Alice Cooper’s classic, not only on the way out on the last day, but as the first song at your first summer party! Everyone knows it.
3. Learn to drive!
Get away from the parents, go on road trips, toot your horn at hot guys/girls... the advantages of driving are endless!
4. Go to a pool party!
A great excuse seeing your crush in a swim suit, and having a great time with your friends too!
5. Ask someone out!
Easier said than done I know, but if you don’t ask then you’ll never know the answer! What do you have to lose?
6. Stick up for a geek!
These guys can be really cool if you just get to know them! Don’t always take the ‘jocks’ side; they can be real jerks sometimes!
7. Go to school after hours!
You get to use all the stuff when no one else is around, and it’s a prime opportunity to pull a good prank or two!
8. Ride in a Hummer!
No one in their right mind is going to mess with someone in a Hummer!
9. Spend time with your best friends!
Chances are you’re going to go your separate ways eventually. Know who your best friends are and make the most of the time you have together!
10. Make some memories!
Adults say that being at school is the best time of your life and how they’d love to go back and do it all again.
Make sure you make it the best you can, so if you were to one day go back you wouldn’t want to do anything different!
