Hyde Park on Hudson brings together a fantastic cast as Laura Linney, Olivia Coleman, Samuel West and Olivia Williams are all set to star in the film.
It also marks the return do the director's chair for British filmmaker Roger Mitchell in what is his first film since Morning Glory back in 2011
He has been behind films such as Notting Hill, The Mother and Venus and has a real knack for balancing drama with comedy.
In June 1939, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (Murray) and his wife Eleanor (Williams) host the King and Queen of England (West and Colman) for a weekend at the Roosevelt home at Hyde Park on Hudson, in upstate New York - the first-ever visit of a reigning English monarch to America.
With Britain facing imminent war with Germany, the Royals are desperately looking to FDR for support. But international affairs must be juggled with the complexities of FDR’s domestic establishment, as wife, mother, and mistresses all conspire to make the royal weekend an unforgettable one.
Seen through the eyes of Daisy (Linney), Franklin’s neighbour and intimate, the weekend will produce not only a special relationship between two great nations, but, for Daisy - and through her, for us all - a deeper understanding of the mysteries of love and friendship.
Bill Murray has been winning a whole heap of praise for his central performance in the movie and has picked up a Golden Glove nomination for his work
Hyde Park on Hudson is released 1st February.
