The original band members of legendary British band Status Quo will reunite after 25 years to celebrate the new cinema release of definitive fly on the wall documentary Hello Quo on Monday 22nd October 2012.
Directed by Emmy Award nominee Alan G. Parker (Monty Python: Almost the Truth, Who Killed Nancy), Hello Quo tells the candid story of Status Quo’s 50 years as a touring and recording rock band, fully supported by the band and featuring input from a host of the biggest names in rock - including: Brian May of Queen, Thin Lizzy, Buzzcocks, Slade, Paul Weller, Sir Cliff Richard and Midge Ure.
Status Quo has sold 128 million worldwide albums, has 22 Top 10 hits and has spent 415 weeks in the UK singles chart and has had more chart hits than any other rock group. Their last album Quid Pro Quo was a top 10 hit and their 29th studio album.
Hello Quo collects hours of previously unseen footage and classic live material with full exclusive access to all band members.
On Monday 22nd October the original band members will reunite for a special one night only screening of Hello Quo in cinemas across the UK and a simultaneous UK Film Premiere in London’s Leicester Square with an exclusive Q&A with the band. The DVD, Blu-ray and Collectors Edition DVD of Hello Quo will go on sale 29th October.
