Headhunters

Headhunters

Headhunters is the latest Scandinavian movie to hit the big screen, with a whole host of other enjoying huge success in recent years.

The movie marks the return to the director's chair for Morten Tyldum in what is his first movie since Fallen Angels back in 2008.

And to celebrate the release of the movie this week we have a couple of clips for you to take a look at:

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has been making quite a name for himself as Jaime Lannister in smash hit TV show Game of Thrones but in between making the two series he has squeezed in this crime thriller - which has already got the critics excited.

The charismatic Roger Brown (Aksel Hennie), a successful corporate headhunter by day and prolific art thief by night, is lured into a dangerous game of cat and mouse when he goes after the biggest heist of his life.

Jo Nesbø’s Headhunters is the best-selling author’s first novel to be adapted for film.

Directed by Morten Tyldum (What Happened To Monday) and produced by Yellow Bird, the production company behind the phenomenally successful Millennium trilogy.

And it seems that Hollywood is already sniffing around this project for a possible American adaptation.

But with the success of the Millennium trilogy and TV series The Killing, both of which have had an American makeover, Scandinavian filmmaking is well and truly on the up.

Headhunters is released 6th April
