Green Lantern is the next superhero movie that we will be enjoying on the big screen this summer when it is released next week.
It is the only D.C. comic movie character to grace the big screen this blockbuster season as the character of Hal Jordan get a 21st Century CGI makeover.
Ryan Reynolds takes on the title character as he leads his first big blockbuster movie - although he did appear in X-Men: Origins Wolverine two years ago.
Reynolds leads an all star cast of Blake Lively, who is stepping into this genre for the first time, Mark Strong and Peter Sarsgaard while Michael Clarke Duncan and Geoffrey Rush lend their voices to the movie.

With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.
