Gambit is a movie that I have been looking forward to for some time as the 1966 film gets a 21st Century makeover.
Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz replace Michael Caine and Shirley McLaine and the movie promises to be one of the must see comedy/crime movies of the autumn.
And we have the first full length trailer for you to have a little chuckle at:
Firth and Diaz have proved their comedy chops over the years and they are joined the cast list by the fantastic Alan Rickman and Stanley Tucci.
And as if all that is not enough Michael Hoffman is back in the director's chair for the first time since the excellent The Last Station.
Joel and Ethan Coen have always had a knack from writing witty scripts and their talents are on show once again with Gambit as they have penned the screenplay.
Private art curator Harry Deane (Firth) devises a finely-crafted scheme to con England's richest man and avid art collector, Lionel Shabandar, (Rickman) into purchasing a fake Monet painting.
In order to bait his buyer, he recruits a Texas rodeo queen (Diaz) to cross the pond and pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII.
Gambit is released 21st November
