Frankenweenie kicked off the BFI London Film Festival in style last night as the movie was given the honour or opening the event.
The movie marks the return to the director's chair for Tim Burton in what is his first stop motion animation film since The Corpse Bride.
And to celebrate the upcoming release of the movie, just a week to go now, we have some new clips for you to check out:
Burton first told the story of Frankenweenie back in 1984 in a short film that he created.
The movie is a feature length remake of that short and pays homage to the character of Frankenstein that was created by writer Mary Shelley.
The likes of Charlie Tahan, Frank Welker, Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara all lend their voices to the movie.
Frankenweenie also reunites Ryder and O'Hara with the director as they have worked on the likes of Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice with him in the past.
After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life - with just a few minor adjustments.
He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new 'leash on life' can be monstrous.
Frankenweenie is released 17th October
