Frankenweenie is one of the most highly anticipated movies of autumn 2012 as Tim Burton not only returns to the director's chair but also the genre of stop motion animation.
It was back in 2005 and Corpse Bride that the director last tackled this genre and with Frankenweenie he remakes his own 1984 short film.
And we have two new clips from the movie for you to take a quick look at:
Burton has always been a master of delivering visually stunning movies and he looks to have done the same again with Frankenweenie as he has filmed it in fantastic black and white.
And as with any Burton film there is a whole host of acting talent that queue around the block to work with him - in this case lend their voices to the movie.
Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau and Charlie Tahan are all on board - Burton reuniting with Ryder and O'Hara after working with them on Beetlejuice.
After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life-with just a few minor adjustments.
He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous.
Frankenweenie is released 17th October.
