Frances Lea return with her second feature film Strawberry Fields - a movie that will be screened at the BFI London Film Festival this week.
The filmmaker has already enjoyed a career that has spanned over ten years - kicking off with Oh, Julie back in 1994.
But it wasn't until 2000 and Everyone's Happy that she made her feature film debut. The movie saw her team up with writer Simon Beaufoy at it premiered at London Film Festival that year.
She moved into TV a year later with Fugee Girl but is now back on the big screen with Strawberry Fields - penning the screenplay as well as directing.
Strawberry Fields is a rite of passage movie that follows two sisters who find themselves in a love triangle.
Strawberry is the latest movie to come from the Film London's Microwave project and brings together a great Brit cast that includes Anna Madeley, Christine Bottomley, Emun Elliott, Philip Martin Brown.
Strawberry Fields is the first time that director Lea has put her screen writing skills on show as she teamed up with Judith Johnson.
The BFI London Film Festival will run 12 - 27 October
