Emily Browning may have kicked off her career back in 1998 but her star is set to rocket with her new movie Sucker Punch.
The movie sees the twenty three year old team up with Watchmen filmmaker Zack Snyder as she takes on the role of Baby Doll.
Baby Doll finds herself institutionalised by her abusive stepfather after being framed for shooting her sister.
In the asylum Baby Doll retreats into a fantasy world in her mind that she created in a bid to survive the situation in which she finds herself.
Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary.
Sucker Punch is the first movie for Browning since the release of the Uninvited back in 2009.
And the actress will be back in Sleeping Beauty, an Australian independent drama that marks the directorial debut for novelist Julia Leigh.
Sucker Punch is released 1st April
