Dark Shadows is set to be one of the standout movies of the summer, mainly because it will be unlike anything else you will see during the blockbuster season.
Johnny Depp is back and he has once again teamed up with Tim Burton as the maverick filmmaker brings a former TV series to the big screen.
Yes Burton has got his teeth into, if you will forgive the pun, the gothic soap opera of the sixties and seventies putting his own spin on things.
And we have the first full length trailer for the movie for you to take a look at:
It is the first collaboration between Depp & Burton since the billion dollar success of Alice In Wonderland back in 2010 - this is also Burton's first movie since then.
Depp heads up a rather exciting cast list as Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Chloe Moretz and Helena Bonham Carter are all also on board.
The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy until he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green).
A witch, in every sense of the word, Angelique dooms him to a fate worse than death: turning him into a vampire, and then burying him alive.
Two centuries later, Barnabas is inadvertently freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972. He returns to Collinwood Manor to find that his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin.
Dark Shadows is released 11th May
