A funny and unconventional road movie revolving around two busloads of Icelanders traveling to a wedding somewhere in the countryside.
The bride and the groom along with their families and close (and not so close) friends begin their journey from Reykjavik, heading for a small country church supposedly only an hour’s drive away.
The problem is that only the groom and best man know where the church is supposed to be; the best man’s gone AWOL and the directions they got from the priest suddenly aren’t as simple as they first appeared.
With so many friends and family thrown together and the pressure mounting, secrets start to trickle out with hilarious and poignant effect. - London Film Festival
