Sucker Punch
Zack Snyder has brought us some of the most visionary movies in recent years, including 300 and Watchmen, and this has made him one of the most exciting filmmakers currently working in Hollywood.
And this trend looks set to continue with his new movie Sucker Punch, which brings together Jena Malone, Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung and Abbie Cornish.
Set in the 1950s, 'Punch' follows a girl who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days.
While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.
And those who were lucky to be in San Diego this weekend for Comic Con were treated to the first trailer for the movie.
