Let Me In was one of the best movies of 2009, starring Kare Hedebrant, Lina Leandersson and directed by Tomas Alfredson, but being a foreign movie it didn't quite get the recognition that it deserved.
So in true American style the movie has been given a Hollywood makeover as Kodi Smit-McPhee, Chloe Moretz, Richard Jenkins and Elias Koteas star in Let Me In.
Directed by Matt Reeves the movie follows an alienated 12-year old boy named Owen (Smit-McPhee) who is viciously bullied by his classmates and neglected by his divorcing parents.
Terribly lonely, Owen spends his days plotting revenge on his middle school tormentors and his evenings spying on the other inhabitants of his apartment complex.
His only friend is his new neighbor Abby (Moretz), an eerily self-possessed young girl who lives next door with her silent father (Jenkins).
Abby emerges from her heavily curtained apartment only at night and always barefoot, seemingly immune to the bitter winter elements. Recognizing a fellow outcast, Owen opens up to her and before long, the two have formed a unique bond.
While images and teaser trailer have been floating around for a while for this movie those at Comic Con at the weekend got to see the first full length trailer for the movie.
