Now I don't know about you but the last couple of movie summers have been a little disappointing - well actually if we are being honest they have been really disappointing.
But 2011 looks set to see that change as there are a whole host of blockbuster movies to get excited about... one in particular is Captain America: The First Avenger.
Yes the summer looks set to belong to Marvel as Captain America is just one of the movies that they have on release - the other being Thor.
Chris Evans is back in the Marvel fold - sadly he was part of the ill-fated Fantastic Four, hard to believe they made two movies. Anyway he is in the lead role as Steve Rogers, a role he will be reprising in the hugely anticipated The Avengers.
Evans leads an all star and very impressive cast of Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci and Richard Armitage as Joe Johnston, the man behind The Wolfman, settles into the director's chair.
Born during the Great Depression, Steve Rogers grew up a frail youth in a poor family.
Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Rogers was inspired to enlist in the army.
However, because of his frailty and sickness, he was rejected. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea, General Chester Phillips offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment... Operation: Rebirth.
After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Solider Serum and bombarded by "vita-rays."
Steve Rogers emerged from the treatment with a body as perfect as a body can be and still be human.
As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull.
